Adrian Collett has been a local councillor since he was
first elected to Hart Council in 1980, where he served until he retired in 1992 to concentrate on
other things.
He was first elected to Yateley Town Council in 1983 and has
represented Yateley and Frogmore on Hampshire County Council since 1985.
Adrian has chaired the Environment Committee and the Finance &
Policy Committee of the Town Council. He has also chaired the Blackwater Valley
Countryside Partnership, which looks after the Blackwater River and the
countryside surrounding it, since 1993.
Adrian has also been the Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary
Candidate for Aldershot Constituency, which covers the whole of Yateley and Frogmore, since 1990.
In that time he has seen the majority that he needs to overturn reduce from 19,188 in 1992 to just 5,534 last time.
Adrian (49) is married to Pam and has two step-children, Emma and
Robert, and two step grand-children, Tabitha and Molly. |
