John Keane has lived in Yateley since the 1970s. Now retired, John worked for Waitrose Systems in Bracknell for 3 years following a career in Software Development with ICL (now Fujitsu Services).

He is married to Margaret and has two grown up children, Charlotte and Richard, both of whom attended Yateley School and now have children of their own.

John is a member of St Swithuns RC Church in Yateley and Margaret is an active member of St Peters.
