Sue has lived most of her life in the Yateley area. She is married with a grown-up son, and works locally in the retail sector.
She is a very family minded and believes in a strong local community. She is also concerned to protect our environment, and believes in the
importance of education, and better care for the elderly.
She is very concerned to preserve the village character and identity of Yateley, and the beautiful surrounding green fields and countryside.
In particular, Sue believes that this means avoiding further major development, and improving what we have. With this in mind, she will work with
local people and the Town Council to improve the quality of design and the variety of local building styles. Sue is keen to protect the character
of the Conservation Areas of Yateley, and avoid over intensive development. She will also seek to press for more facilities for young people in order
that their energies can be better channelled.
She is keen to join the Town Council to create an efficient and effective Council. This means avoiding high council precepts and while keeping up
the quality of services people expect and deserve. Sue will do all in her power to ensure the town council looks after and enhances the area and i
mproves amenities generally, including Yateley Town Centre.
