We have taken the decision to close our playgrounds temporarily because of COVID-19, to help to keep each other safe.
We’re in an area of high infections, and with the closure of the playgrounds in Rushmoor and Blackwater and Hawley parishes, it may mean our playgrounds become busier. This increases the potential risk of infection from overcrowding and a lack of social distancing. As the new variant of the virus is more transmissible, local action is needed to help reduce the risk of infection in this latest lockdown.
Despite the closure of playgrounds, we are so lucky to live in a parish with an abundance of green, open spaces to enjoy daily exercise with your household.
You can enjoy…

- A jog around Yateley Green
- A kick about on Darby Green playing fields
- A woodland walk around Swan Lake
- A walk past the COVID snake in Yateley Common
